Really lovely day it with my 3 year old. We went over the Easter bank holiday so he got an Easter egg. It wasn't too expensive for me and under 5s are free so that was a bonus. The reason ride was 45 minutes each way which was a good length, however if recommend bringing some activities to keep a younger child entertained as the scenery isn't always that interesting. Car parking is ample at both ends and there is a nice cafe.
